Ugly! Tito Sotto ain’t cool with how refs mucked up PBA Finals of Danding’s teams
Senate President Tito Sotto isn’t cool with how San Miguel Beer snatched a historic five-peat All Filipino championship in the PBA versus sister team Magnolia.
The taller and deeper SMB led by MVP June Mar Fajardo squeaked out a 72-71 win over the gritty, undersized Magnolia.
But for Sotto, there was nothing sweet about the victory, as referees choked on their whistles in the final minute of the game as SMB completed its comeback.
“5 vs 8. Ugly!” said Sotto on Twitter alluding to the three referees’ bias for SMB.

Sotto is apparently a Magnolia fan with his niece married to Magnolia’s ex-talisman Marc Pingris who did not play because of an injury.
Sotto is also a member of the National People’s Coalition, Danding Cojuangco, who owns both SMB and Magnolia.
