Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Chief Persida Acosta believes that detainees should not be left out in getting help from the ongoing enhanced community qurantine due to the 2019 coronavirus (COVID-19).

Because of this, Acosta said she has decided to provide relief goods for detainees.

“Nag-hahanda pa kami para sa mga inmates affected by quarantine,” she said.

Acosta said the PAO just started packing relief goods for the detainees this Friday (March 27).

The PAO chief decided to also help out detainees after she also handed relief goods to PAO employees.

“Sa mga 300 PAO employees nakapamigay na ,” Acosta disclosed.
