Wag kayong makialam! Duterte blasts judges issuing TROs on gov’t projects: You’re part of corruption

President Rodrigo Duterte has slammed judges who order government projects to be stopped just because of a complaint by a losing bidder.

In his speech at the turnover ceremony for China’s donation to the military in Clark, Pampanga Wednesday (June 28), Duterte expressed his frustration about the delay in the procurement of medical equipment for military hospitals.

“Would you believe it, hanggang ngayon, ngayon lang nabili, may winning bid, may protesta,” he said.

“Alam mo, ‘yan ang sakit ng Pilipino. Itong mga p***** i**** ‘to. Alam mo kung bakit? Karamihan ‘yan binibili na madalian, kung sino ‘yung manalo, file-an nila ng kaso,” Duterte added.

The President said losing bidders often tell those who won they will withdraw the case for a fee. Judges, he said, are part of the modus.

“Kaya I’m addressing also myself to the judges: Do not f*** with me. Matagal na ninyong ginagawa ‘yan kaya ang gobyerno ‘yung mga project na-paralyze,” he said.

Duterte said judges should allow a government project to push through if they knew it went through regular bidding.

“You know, you can — the b***s*** paper there. Huwag kayong makialam. ‘Cause every time you issue TRO, you delay the project and you are part of the graft and corruption that is going on still,” he said.
