‘Wag na tayong magpaligsahan! Robredo tells off ICAD agencies amid rejection of narco list request
Vice President Leni Robredo ain’t got time to compete.
Robredo made it clear Sunday (November 17) she’s focused on getting work done as officials of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) oppose her request for a list of high profile targets in the drug war.
On her weekly radio show, “Biserbisyong Leni,” Robredo said she will continue working with cooperative agencies and ignore those who aren’t.
“Wala na tayong time para magpaligsahan. Parati ko itong inuulit: two and a half years na lang.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director General Aaron Aquino earlier questioned Robredo’s need for the high profile list of drug war targets, saying it was a confidential document.
Meanwhile, Interior Undersecretary Ricojudge Echiverri, meanwhile, expressed apprehension about sharing highly confidential information with Robredo, saying she might use it against law enforcers.
Robredo said she has no problem if she cannot have the high profile list of drug war targets, but other parties should no longer make a big deal out of her request.
