President Rodrigo Duterte remains convinced about Daanbantayan, Cebu Mayor Vicente Loot‘s involvement in the illegal drug trade despite the latter’s vehement denial.
In a speech before local officials in Cebu Saturday (May 19), Duterte called out Loot for allegedly keeping illegal drugs in his posession.
“General Loot, your house was flooded with drugs sa isang kwarto. Huwag na tayong maglokohan dito. P***** i** mo ‘wag mo ako lokohin, l*** ka,” he said.
Duterte made it clear that he is not buying Loot’s claim that he is not involved in the illegal drug trade.
“Maski tama ‘yung sinabi ng gunggong na ito, itong sabi niya na, ‘well I admitted that I was dealing with shabu but no, prove to me.’ Siya pa ang magsabi prove. P***** i** mo, sige. Bigyan mo akong benta, I will prove to you that your dead,” he said.
The President said he does not care if Loot used to be a police general.
“Don’t be complacent just because you’re a general). Hindi ako naaano ng mga heneral heneral diyan,” he said.
Duterte named Loot as a “narco general” shortly after he assumed office in 2016 but the mayor has denied any involvement in the illegal drug trade.
