Filipinos will not be forced to take a coronavirus vaccine when one becomes available in the Philippines, according to Malacañang.

But, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said those who refuse immunization will have to sign a waiver.

“Wala pong pilian, wala kasing pilitan.

Pero ganun po yan there is such a thing as waiver of a right.

In the same briefing, Roque confirmed that the government will purchase 25 million doses of China’s Sinovac vaccine. The first batch of the vaccines will arrive in February.
