Chill out.
Actress Kris Aquino recently flaunted some pricey jewelry and fashion outfit on Instagram but immediately rejected allegations her wealth was looted from the nation’s coffers.
Aquino said she does not belong to a family of thieves and that she works hard and promptly pays the correct taxes to the government.
No one would dare post stolen wealth on Instagram, according to Kris.
“Obvious naman na hindi kami pamilya ng magnanakaw (generally pag galing sa nakaw, hindi pino-post on IG, especially an account w/ more than 4.6 million followers, but do take note i wrote, GENERALLY – plus i do have years & years of BIR receipts to back me up #facts),” she wrote on Instagram.
The former presidential daughter made the comment to shoot down a netizen’s comment about being “a family of thieves.”
She earlier posted on Instagram story an advertisement pictorial, citing the products she used for the shoot.
She said she bought the shoes with her “hard earned tax paid money” while her jewelry was lent by a company. “Hair – all mine. Skin — thank you to very good DNA and ULTHERAPY,” she added.
In spending her money, Kris admitted she used her hard-earned money and even shared some blessings with other people. “Ginamit ko naman talaga ang pera ng mga PILIPINO- mga Pinoy who helped make my childhood dreams come true,” she said.
Kris however is reluctant to give more details about the blessings she shared with others. She said she might be called “epal” if she enumerated all the people she had help through the years.
“It is more than enough the beneficiaries know and my Creator knows that i shared the blessings i received to help better the lives of others,” she said.
