The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has a lot of explaining to do about the alleged irregularities in the midterm elections including the delay in the counting of ballots.

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian has joined the growing list of politikos dismayed with the delay in the poll count and asked the poll body to explain.

“Our local server said that we already had transmitted at 90%. But the TV/transparency server got stuck at 0.40%. What’s happening @COMELEC?,” he tweeted.

Gatchalian said 600 vote counting machines and 1,000 SD cards have malfunctioned while the poll body’s transparency server malfunctioned “Congress allocated P10 billion for a real time and credible elections,” he said.
