Bolet Banal to Juana Change: Ikaw na ang may pure intentions

Liberal Party stalwart Bolet Banal could not help but make “patol” to the online rants of Juana Change (real name Mae Paner).
Quezon City Rep. Banal chided Paner on her Facebook post criticizing the Liberal Party for having time to campaign for its candidates but no time to push for an override of Pres. Aquino’s veto on the Social Security System (SSS) pension hike.

Paner recently talked about the LP’s vice president candidate Leni Robredo starring in a “Maalala Mo Kaya” episode just days before the official campaign period starts.

“#‎pakyu16thcongress‬ Kampanyang amoy pera! Bolet Banal shame on you!” Paner said, tagging Banal on Facebook.

ZERO VOTES TO LP!” she added.

Banal promptly responded, chiding Paner for using the senior citizens to prop up the senatorial bid of Bayan Muna Rep.Neri Colmenares, the main author of the SSS pension hike.

Banal accused Paner and Colmenares of using the senior citizens to attend the plenary on Wednesday night to show a staged outrage against the president’s veto of the hike.

Paner retorted that the House leadership shut off Colmenares from defending his resolution on the floor. She said the senior citizens’ outrage yesterday was far from being staged.

Paner also lashed back that it was the House which approved the SSS pension hike, and now they were the ones retracting it because the President vetoed it.

Tingin mo inuto sila? So wala silang sariling pag-iisip? Narinig mo ba ang mga sigaw nila? Peke yun?

Paner called Banal a coward for shutting out Colmenares from defending his resolution and the senior citizens from airing their grievances.

“Mas madali na walang quorum at i-adjourn. No talk, no mistakes. No record pa.
