Yabang pa more! Harry Roque says he spent more years at UP compared to others

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has stressed once again that coronavirus, not the University of the Philippines (UP), is the public enemy.
During his virtual presser Thursday, Roque said that he would never regard the country’s premier university as an enemy, noting that he studied at UP since high school.
“Hindi po natin kalaban o kakumpetensiya ang UP. Hindi po kagaya ng maraming UP graduates, ako po ay high school pa lang ay nag-aral na po ako sa UP hanggang College of Law, at nagturo pa po ako ng labinlimang taon – full time, bago po ako pumasok ng Kongreso,” the Palace official shared.
Last Tuesday, Roque congratulated the Philippines for “beating” the prediction made by UP researchers that coronavirus cases could hit 40,000 by end of June.
He likewise raised his fist in the air as he claimed that the Philippines was “winning” in the fight against the dreaded disease.
“Hinding-hindi ko po iku-consider na kalaban ang UP. UP naming mahal po iyan at bagama’t ang last time na nanalo po sa UAAP ay freshman pa ako sa UP College of Law.
“Again po ‘no, sa mga taga-UP, puwede ba ho, ako ay taga-UP rin ‘no, mas matagal po ang tinagal ko diyan sa UP ‘no kaysa sa marami,” he concluded.
